Biographie :

EN: Noureddine Lebaz is associate professor of Process Engineering at Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University since 2016. Prior to this position, he obtained an Engineer degree in Chemical Engineering at Ecole Nationale Polytechnique of Algiers (Algeria) in 2011. He then moved to Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) of Toulouse (France) where he held a Master degree and a PhD in Process Engineering in 2012 and 2015 respectively. He was a postdoctoral fellow of the Toulouse Biotechnology Institute (TBI) in 2015-2016 before joining the LAGEPP laboratory in Lyon (France). He is currently working on process modelling using population balance formalism and computational fluid dynamics for liquid/liquid and solid/liquid multiphase systems including emulsification, crystallization and precipitation.
