Membranes and membranes processes, for biotechnology, pharmacy, and environmental applications. My research concerns membrane processes for the preparation of emulsions and particles, membrane mixing, membrane crystallization, membrane chromatography, hybrid membrane processes for water treatment, characterization of bilayer lipid membranes, processes for the preparation of liposomes and nanoemulsions, etc.

I graduated from Ecole Centrale de Lyon in 1987. I obtained m PhD thesis in University of Compiègne, France, in 1990. From 1990 to 1992, I had a postdoctoral position at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Boston, USA. I have been working as a research scientist in CNRS first at Laboratoire de Génie Chimique, Nancy, France. I obtained a position at LAGEPP, Villeurbanne, France in 1994, first as a junior and now as a senior scientist (DR1).
