New collaboration between Skyepharma and LAGEPP Laboratory of Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and CNRS

The NanoMicS project will focus on lipidic nanoparticles, produced with the Microfluidizer® Technology. They allowing an efficient #encapsulation of low soluble APIs in digestive fluids and a significant improvement of their passage into the blood, thanks to their surface properties.

SFEL thesis prize of Madame Camille DUMONT

We are pleased to announce that Ms. Camille DUMONT received the “French Society for the Study of Lipids” (SFEL) prize for her 2020 thesis on

“Lipid nanovectors for the oral delivery of peptides”

under the scientific direction of Mr. Hatem Fessi and Ms. Sandrine Bourgeois.

Currently she works as Pharma R&D Project Manager at GATTEFOSSE.

New price for Khadem: SFGP2020

The @LAGEPP is pleased to announce that M. Behnam Khadem won the prize of the best PhD of the SFGP committee in the domain of chemical engineering. The title of the PhD is “Design, scale-up and optimization of double emulsion processes”. It was part of the European project ModLife, under the supervision of Dr Nida Sheibat-Othman, with collaboration of Unilever. M. Khadem works now at Henkel in Germany, as Care R&D manager

A ce titre, le diagnostic constitue un enjeu de santé et de recherche. Dans cette optique, des scientifiques du Laboratoire d’automatique et de génie des procédés et de génie pharmaceutique (LAGEPP – Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1/CNRS), du Centre de recherche en acquisition et traitement d’images pour la santé (CREATIS – INSA Lyon/Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1/CNRS/INSERM) et des Hospices civils de Lyon, développent un nouveau type de scanner « spectral » pour la détection précoce et la caractérisation des maladies cardio- et neurovasculaires (1).”
