Seminar of Pr. Denis DOCHAIN: Observers of states for reaction systems; a personal perspective

Summary : Observers have been at the heart of research for many decades. The design of observers for reaction systems, chemical or biological, has certain specificities due in particular in the absence of sensors for real-time measurement of all the important quantities of the system as well as the large uncertainty of the dynamic models considered. . The purpose of this paper is to present some standard results in the context of reaction systems as well as a number of observers that provide adequate responses to state observation problems of reaction systems.
